About me
Hi there! I'm Pooh, pround founder of Kandid Kanvas Ink! I am a self-taught tattoo artist of 9 years and counting! I have dabbled into multiple styles over the years, but I am best known for my watercolor blends as well as my floral work, such as black-and-white or Neotrad style flowering. I also do script, ornamental, otaku/anime, illustrative and minimalism. I'm drawn to any piece where I get to have fun with shading, add colors and put my own spin here or there.
As someone who's always been on the shy side, I've come to love building a rapport with my clients over the years by providing a comfortable experience and open atmosphere. As tattoos can be therapeutic for some, many of my clients get candid during their sessions (ha-ha) and that only adds to the experience in a positive way. This is, of course, is on top of giving them fantastic art pieces to express themselves and tell their stories with! As a female artist finding her place in a male-dominated industry, I have a long-term goal of having a woman-occupied shop that offers a wide range of services.
